Passed away peacefully on 19th May, aged 89 years. Much loved and much missed husband, dad, grandad, and great-grandad. Lifelong trade unionist and campaigner for workers' rights at home and internationally. Past President of the National Union of Hosiery and Knitwear Workers, KFAT and International Textile Garment and Leather Workers' Federation, governor of Welbeck College.
